This project is a ceramic sculpture that incorporates a lighting element.

How do you know your position in society, and how do you prove that? In Homeric Hymn to Hermes: As a illegitimate son of god Zeus and nymph Maia, 1-day old Hermes had a desire to taste beef—something not meant for a god—suggesting an underlying anxiety about mortality, both his mother Maia’s and his own.
Therefore when he cooked the beef and not able to eat it—is the moment that reveals his divine identity.
